Day 87/365 project

Last year when my pot plants started dying I set this old dish pan full of dead flowers in the edge of the woods on an old tractor DH had planned to work on and get it set in my yard. Can you imagine my surprise and delight when I spied this yesterday evening...

Day 75/76 365 project

Such a kooky little girl, hair in rag rollers getting ready for a photoshot...
The same young lady 2 hrs later...
Sorry I'm so late posting and I didn't get anything posted yesterday, I spend 4 yrs taking photos of Rissa and 2 other children for a friend of mine..
This morning before day light my Husband woke me up to take him to the hospital, we were there over 6 hrs and I am just totally wiped out. He is ok for now, but his blood pressure has been acting up for several days. This morning he woke up with terrible headache and pressure of 200/125..not good at all.

Day 73/365 project

I have seen several commericals for the Ken Kobre light scoop and had wondered what it was and after seeing several folks on the blogs talking about how great it was I decided to look into it. I watch the video and decided that even though it wasn't guaranteed to work on my camera that it was a close enough match to maybe do alright. I had to do a little adjustment to the settings they gave and still not totally happy with the lightness of the pictures. But I think I am going to really like, not having the shadows when using the flash.
What do you think..????
I used the manuel setting with
ISO set to 800
Aperture f/4.0
shutter speed 1/250
set flash on front curtain sync
flash exposure to +1
Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to keep it from coming out so light,?

Day 71/365 project

Hank my Fur Grandbaby, he belongs to my oldest son. He is the twin brother to my beautiful much loved and miss Titus. We lost TiTi 3 years ago today and I don't have any pictures of him, but looking at Hank is almost the same....I lost all of my pictures a couple of years ago when my computer crashed...(learned to save on external hard drive after that). TiTi, was a one in a million, never be another one like him. We so miss him.

Project 52 Self portrait...#3

Not alot of color in this picture, but many shades of gray.
You can see my eye is almost shut, but surprisingly it is the other eye that hurts and is burry, and light sensitive.

Day 63/365 project

I took this photo of my sister when we went out to eat last week with my I-Phone..afraid I had commited the worst sin a photographer could do..left my camera at home.
The original shot...dark just kinda blaaa..not bad for a cell phone picture.
First I used Portrait Professional 10 program
Then I used Coffee Shop Soft Autumn Glow and Coffee Shop Color Bar Template...I love the color bar on the side..do you believe all of these colors are in the picture.

Day 62/365 projest

He would stop and look up as if to say, knock some more down....
outside my bedroom window, what a view, I have...

Day 61/365 project

I just want to apology for not posting yesterday. I am having a problem with my eyes and some days the light from the computer screen is just too much to stand. So I will try to catch up today..
This was taken at the lake near my home Sunday morning on my way to Church, I noticed something on the other side of the lake and stopped, grabbed my camera and zoomed to the max..lol..and was able to get this shot. I was kinda disappointed, I thought it was my flock of ducks that I watch every year.
